I used an image in this grouping as my inspiration: http://wvaaa.com/inductee/mary-nohl-47
The image in red/blue/white.... I decided to use an Alcohol ink background created by inking felt with ALcohol inks that were connected to a protractor (or a ruler) and making patterned backgrounds. The images were stamped and embossed in black on a second sheet of the technique that was not as intense as the background. I used another stamp to make arms that would reach out to each other.....
Abstract art is quite a challenge for me......

Shelly, way to work outside your comfort zone and create a unique piece of art! Very cool effect with that beautiful background and those floating women!

So cool Shelly and I think we had similar thoughts. I also did women reaching out to one another at the top of my card. I took inspiration from the tall statues piled on top of one another that she had in her garden. I like the BG you used.
TFS Happy day

I knew there was another card I'd seen s link for! I'll change your keyword so that this shows up in the gallery - you have 635. Great range in the challenge and a very cool background. I like the little strips along each edge.

I love this background! I've spent a lot of time admiring the patterns in it and wondering how it was some. I also love the feel of the glossy paper. Fabulous and fun card, Shelly!
