I used a parakeet instead of two bluebirds, I added patterned paper as the background, used a bare branch instead of leafed, with 3 hanging hearts instead of 1.
One of my nieces bought a parakeet a few months ago and they named him Rocky - and I recently purchased the parakeet die and stamp set to use for cards for them and was happy to get pushed today to finally make a card!
Thanks for the inspiration Gayle and enjoy your week in the FS gallery!

A beautiful card and one your niece and family is sure to love, especially with Rocky's name on it.

Thank you, Julia - how fun! I had a pair of budgies years ago, bought on a whim during a trip to the feed store. Lemon survived 11 years with us, and Lime lasted another 18 months after that. They weren’t blue (ha) but wonderful, cheerful little companions. I need a parakeet stamp!

Wow, Julia! That background is a barrel of fun colour! Your cute little birdie is perfectly suited to it. Just love his branch dangling with sweet hearts. Adorable design.

Joining all the other commenters swooning over that background DP you used - really striking! I also like how you framed the entire piece and how you spelled out Rocky's name.
