My friend Gayle sent me some die cuts from a new die she just bought. I had stamped this flower and embossed it in white and it was in my stash. I sponged it in Almost Amethyst and Pear Pizazz. Cut it to fit the inside oval of the die cut and then stacked three cuts of the Prayers with the top one sponged also. Finished the sentiment on a small oval which is also stacked 3 times.

How wonderful that your friend sent you some die-cuts, I need to do the same for some friends and my aunt (who is a dear friend), what a great idea, thank you!!! It was that gorgeous frame and the prayers title that drew me in and I was so glad that I did, this card is just beautiful!!! I love how you have colored the flower in a more abstract way that I wouldn't have thought of and it's so effective!!! I too love to stack die-cuts especially in the last year or two and it makes such a difference especially in person.
I have that Hero Arts prayers stamp and die set and I have used it a lot especially when making a large set of hand-stitched cards mainly for my Mom, perfect for so many reasons to send to a loved one like this card. I know that it will be so appreciated--I need to have some made and ready to go myself and I want to make some in sets to give to a few friends, first on my list is a dear friend who is family to me who is very unwell and I can send her prayers card and then include a few for her to send to others...
I really like the color combination you have used, I appreciate that you have used colors I wouldn't have put together and these work so well together and I tend to get in a rut and use the same combinations too much. Thank you for teaching me so much. Favorited, it's so beautiful! I just wish that I could list this in my favorites of the week, know that would be my intention.
I think that prayers cards are needed all the more this year with so much illness and uncertainty all over the world, we all need to be reminded that God is still on His throne and He's still in control.
