Shelly's gift of this Sizzix EF is sure getting used in my Artzadoni Studio. This time, I simply tipped the Versamark pad over the raised areas and dusted Pearl ex Powder on it. Lovely sheen. Gave it a quick spritz of hairspray to set. Silver embossed the sentiment and added the vintage butterfly.

What a truly cool and beautiful technique you have used on the top of these raised areas on the embossed cardstock, I want to try it, as it looks so glorious! You have executed this technique with a lot of artistry and its effect is truly wonderful. I can only imagine how stunningly beautiful it must be in person if it looks this glorious and so very 3D with that Pearl-Ex sparkle in this photo. Clearly, using hairspray has worked well. I'm told that as a setting agent, that one wants the cheaper type of hairspray that would have more alcohol in it, I'm guessing, or do you find that it does better with a better hairspray? I don't think that I have any, so I would be buying some for this purpose, unless I have a little travel-sized hairspray that I keep around mainly for guests when someone might come for a visit under normal circumstances...
Your paper butterfly has such bright colors, it's great contrast to the more muted shade of the cardstock along with the treated embossed areas with that cool sheen.
