I made this card for Ways to Use it - What's Your Beverage.
I used a tea bag glued onto my watercolor paper. I've been experimenting with watercolors lately and decided to try it on a tea bag. I probably wouldn't do it again...or perhaps, do something with less painting on it. It got a bit darker than I wanted it to.
I watercolored my poppies and did some splattering. I'm learning less is more with watercolor and also, I need more patience!

My birthday is in April ;-). Gracie, it's beautiful. I'm thinking because the teabag is so absorbent maybe that's why it went darker, but I really like the way you can see where the teabag is on the background because of the deeper colouration. And your poppies - oh my word!!!! You don't need to buy any more flower stamps ever again, stick with your watercolouring.
