I'm also adding it to the Alpha challenge M = masculine. This card will go to my DH on Valentines Day. He's not into Valentines Day and although it's got a lot of girly elements I know he will be happy to receive it. He may remind me that my cards only now cost $500 to make LOL.
This was an easy card to create. I have lots of 6x6 papers and with time not on my side when I made this I simply fussy cut around the doily on the patterned paper and distressed the edges.
I already had the teacup in my stash which I had previously gold embossed when I made 2 for the Teapot Party last year. I simply stamped the teacup again and fussy cut out some patterned paper including the tiny hearts and added them to the cup. I used my brown marker to make it look as though it had coffee in the cup...my DH likes his coffee strong.
Stamped my sentiment and added heart stickers on the front.
As it's a round card, I cut another piece of paper in blue from the paper pack and added that with a hinge....inside the sentiment tells my DH how much he is loved.
TFL. Happy day and hope you join in on the challenges.

When he gets this, he has no business to remind you how much your cards actually cost per card ;-). I just love the way the card is saucer shaped, so pretty.
I like my coffee strong too - though I didn't actually start drinking it till I was seventeen. Growing up, the first sound of the morning was my mother grinding the coffee and then the bubble sound as it brewed.

What a sweet coffee themed valentine, Jayne! Love the paper piecing on the cup and the circle shaped card base! I'm sure DH will love such an expensive card for Valentine's Day!
Ha! Isn't that the truth!
