This little piece of leaf stamping (inked and run through the Big Shot) has been floating around since 2014 and surfaces every now and again. I'm short of Scripture cards, so I thought that would be a good use for it. I found a leafy gel print in my stash to pair with it. Popped the sentiment panel up on foam, added a leaf cut from watercolour paper and sponged with distress inks (wild honey, forest moss), added a couple of little woodgrain sequins (from Serendipity Stamps, I don't know if IO still carry them), and some copper Nuvo Drops on the leaf that is mostly hidden by the sentiment panel.
Appropriately, and I didn't realise it, the book page is actually from C.T. Studd, Cricketer and Pioneer, so along the central vein of the top leaf, you can actually read "many times the Lord has blessed me..."
I was surprised when I saw that because my normal book for gel prints is an old Reader's Digest omnibus - and then I remembered that when I had a session over the Christmas holidays, I couldn't find that book anywhere and DH said he reckoned I could use C.T. Studd. If he ever wants to read it again, I'll put it on my Kindle for him .
