This is for our monthly Tickle exchange and Jean has chosen a wonder artist to inspire us. My card was inspired by two of the photos of Mary Nohl's house. I loved the textured look of this door . The stencil I used here reminded me of the shapes on the door. I also loved the eclectic assortment of chairs she had in her house. My recycled bits on this include the leftover backgrounds which I used for all the chairs and the white circle surrounding the T (for Teapotters) on the "doorknob"....it's one of those reinforcements for a hole on a piece of paper...does anyone use those any more? And why do I have one of those....?

What a great stenciled background, I love it, and the furniture is really fun too, yes sometimes I use them on a tag, and if I don't find them I make one myself

Such a fun and inspired creation, Polly. Your fab collection of chairs are awesome against your beautifully sponged geometric bg. I currently have a sheet of those reinforcements circles on my studio floor...another why question!

Love that stenciled bg - it really does have the feeling of the door in your inspiration. Love the fun use of the hole reinforcement for the white "doorknob". BTW - I have several boxes of these and use them on my homemade tags for a more finished look around the hole punches.

That is a great bg, especially for your wonderful and eclectic collection of cards. The little "doorknob" is a great embellishment. Love the colors too! Wonderful card.

Genius! Love every element you masterfully up cycled. That front door is da bomb. The style is called ‘Brutalist’. Your stenciled bg is perfect. Of course, loved the chairs and your door knob! T also stands for totally wonderful, mf.

The background is fantastic, Polly! You and Susan between you are setting out to provide chairs for us all . I like the upright one - I always like something with no arms, for knitting. I have some reinforcers somewhere, I think I bought them for one of DH's endless reorganisings of his sheet music. Actually, I think they're surprisingly useful, I use my little die one quite often! Fun with the T for Teapotters.
