This week's featured stamper, Deb Felts (debdeb), has a keen eye for combining colors, patterns and shapes and her Gallery is filled with beautiful cards. As I browsed her Gallery, my eye was continually drawn to the cards with circles and then I spotted this beauty, which reminded me of my new stamp set from MFT.
In my mind I had planned a yellow/gray combo then I looked at the stamp. Oops, changed lanes and seasons and went with Fall colors instead. I tried a couple different pieces of patterned bg paper, but the image was too dainty and got lost in the prints. In the end I stamped in versamark and embossed the leaf pattern onto the carmel card stock; stamped the leaves pattern onto the cream scrap and matted that with dark brown. That seemed to provide a muted bg for the main image that didn't overpower. I die cut and stacked the image 3 times to give some additional heft then added some Glossy Accents to the three tiny acorns. Stamped and embossed the sentiment (from the same wreath set).
Congratulations Deb. You have a wonderful Gallery with tons of inspiration. TFL.

Thanks for the enabling, Debbie, this is a very cool looking wreath. Love your background stamping with the leaves and love the stamp on the cream piece-more enabling, lol. Gorgeous case!

Thank you so much for your kind words, from one Deb to another!
I love the repeating leaves of various shapes and sizes on all the layers...the topmost one on the wreath is so fragile and lovely! The green really pops and the browns and rusty reds tie the whole thing together! Beautiful!

Love the stamped BG... pretty in fall colors. Heat embossed greeting, perfect over mini print. Simplicity of design makes this perfect for the 1/2 wreath like trim!

Beautiful card and love the fall colors. I always love a wreath and this one is delightful. I like the muted background of leaves that still lets your main image pop.
