I stamped my background to color it the first time and then colored it a second time with a rose stencil and some embossing glitter paste and some Distress Crayons. Stamped the sentiment on a die cut shape, cut that down and fussy cut a mat for it in black.

We did use the same shoes!! Lots of similarities but your stenciled rose added a unique way to use another media to it with the embossing paste. Very creative/1

Pretty birthday card with the bold harlequin design, Pat. Creative idea to stencil on top of it with the embossing paste. The glitter makes it stand out.

I'll bet irl that your rose is so sparkly and pretty, Pat. I wish the camera could pick up sparkle and shine like we see our cards. Anyhow, your bg adds nice textural interest to this birthday card~
