A very easy, one layer card for Paul. What pain, what heartache he must be feeling...and I'm guessing all three of them were alone with this suffering. To me, that is the worst part.
I just got these older Michael Strong stamps and thought they would work well, embossed on my new favorite color background from SU, using five different eps, which I'm kind of into doing lately: gilded, SU cherry cobbler, sterling, a turquoise copper from Seth Apter and Gina K metallic blush. Three different font sentiments, all Club Scrap, and then a border and dots drawn with a metallic pen that starts out a greenish/blue and becomes more gold as it dries.

Your doodling looks Perfect with your colorful embossed images, Jean! I especially like the blue/green one. I don't know how it was for Paul's mom, but I do know that for Chanda he was able to face time her while she was in the hospital. He was allowed to be with her for her last 30 minutes of life and watched her depart. He was dressed fully and promised that he would not get covid, and he didn't.

Lovely stamps, and the different colours of EP are so effective. I'm kind of scared of trying that because I don't have a proper heat gun, just a DIY one, so card gets scorched with too much exposure. The simple circle elements and sentiments make for a great sympathy card.

Beautiful card and I think your "easy" card is simply perfect for Paul. The multi color eps are great and add so much interest, but it was your doodled bordering I first spotted. I love that. Thoughtful lovely card for Paul.

This is beautiful. I love the different embossing colors and the doodling around is just perfect.
My hubby has been in and out of the hospital since Thanksgiving and yes, the worst part is being alone. No visiting is horrible.
