Hello Friends... My friend Barbara is our hostess for this week's color challenge CC826, she chose Cajun Craze, Call Me Clover, and Whisper White, with the dessert option of 'ribbon'. I admit I love a challenge and have to say she put me to the test this week, teehee! When I ponder the color Cajun Craze, my mind automatically thinks of clay pots... so that's what I did! Luckily, I could feature a new stamp set, I just received, 'Simply Succulents' and it's matching die set! The awesome thing about this set, is it has an intricate (full) background die included in the set!
I stamped my succulents on Call Me Clover cardstock and colored them a tad with Mint Macaron Stampin' Blends to add a little shading. The pot was stamped on Cajun Craze and shaded with Cinnamon Cider Stampin' Blends. My dessert option is a little skimpy this week using Linen Thread instead of ribbon!
Thank you Barbara for a fun color challenge, I give you an A+ for challenging me!
I hope you all join us, the team, in all the fun. I can't wait to see your take on this awesome challenge!

Love the succulents, LeAnn! And the whole layout of this card, the way you used the colors, even the pseodo-ribbon! A great card to send to a friend you haven't seen for a while.

I thought this set might work for these colors and you've certainly done it proud! I love the white embossing for the succulents - it tones down the green perfectly. Absolutely beautiful!
