This card is for Great-Grandma Shirley, who is raising her great-granddaughter Jannifer (our Teaparty Recipient for MMTPT651, Send a Smile). I thought Great-Grandma Shirley deserved some flowers & encouragement for taking such awesome care of little Jannifer, who is on dialysis waiting for a kidney.
Stamped the flowers, leaves, stems and the Mason jar; colored them with colored pencils and fussy-cut them out. Made an Easel Card following the directions in the tutorial. I tried to make it look like the jar was sitting on a table with a tablecloth (cut the doily in half & added it over some DSP), but, hmmm.... Anyway, attached the jar & popped the flowers up. Stamped the sentiments and fussy-cut them into two bitty banners; added under the flowers.
Stamped "You're Amazing" from the Hero Arts set onto a strip of DSP, layered that on more DSP & added the flower brads. Punched a border with the doily punch, and added that to the base. Used some dimensional tape to pop the sentiment strip over the doily border to make a "stop" for the easel.

This is lovely. Really. And it does look like it is on a table-I like the doily idea! Grandmas and doilies go together in my mind, but I am not the youngest either LOL This grandma rocks taking care of the little one.
Easel cards are esp pretty to me when it has a vase standing up.
