Lyn introduced me to a new technique today and as I need to increase my stock of masculine cards I gave it a try on 2 cards. Watched the video early and by the time I made the cards I couldn't quite remember the method so each of my cards are made slightly differently - one must be the correct way but they are both OK. I had Jeff in mind for this one as he is into football and golf but hubby likes the other one for him too as he used to own a VW Beetle when they were growing up.

Janine this is absolutely brilliant with the hexagons over the floating circle! I don't know why I didn't even consider "alternate shapes" - probably because they kept talking about using all your strips and drop offs in the video. I think you deserve LOTS of extra cookies for taking this in a totally different direction.

This is fantastic! I love that you used the hexies for your element - Masculine cards are definitely I don't have a lot of either. I need to stock up! Thanks for taking my challenge!

I'm very taken with your hexagon shapes, Janine. I might try this with a bee theme whenever I get some extra free time. Fun take on the strips that were in the video.
