When I first seen this gorgeous card of Debbie's I instantly seen it as a sympathy card. And I smiled because, I knew I had that Magenta tree & bird stamp. to make changes I did change the colors a bit, stamping this on printed paper and the pumice stone ended up being a pretty good match for the printed paper, but to try and make the tree line more visible I added some prisma pencil to the tree trunks in place. There is also some pumice stone DOX along the edges of the text printed paper as it was very firmly in the cream/brown colors range and I wanted it to blend a little better. The sympathy sentiment is stamped on the inside of the card, I will put some cropped shots up on the blog that can be seen here. Debbie, I hope you like this and enjoy your week. Thanks for this challenge Julie & tfl.

Stacy, this is fabulous. That printed paper was made for that stamp (don't you just love that stamp!). Your subtle trees in the bg add just the right touch of detail and interest. And you can never go wrong with script bgs and this one works beautifully with this card. A stunning card for a sad occasion. I think your sentiment may be the best sympathy sentiment for a friend I have seen.
I saw the second card you made on your blog. It's gorgeous too and another great sentiment for a sad occasion. You really create wonderful cards with that stamp.

What a sweet sentiment, Stacy, and I love the image and colors. Really peaceful and comforting. Very cool card. Hugz
