I really enjoyed strolling through Debbie's gallery! I found myself, oh, I want to try that (embossed dies, Hearts), a very cool junk journal cover, super coloring. However it was This Old Chair that I kept coming back to.
I wanted a chance to try the watercolor technique and I just happened to have the same stamp. I've always loved all the positive words surrounding the chair. My changes were the color palette, the sentiment, and the style of the stitched frame. I also layered the panel. I hope I captured the essence of your beautiful card, Debbie!
Not sure why, but has been playing in my head all night, so coming across the Tim Holtz paper sentiment, I knew it was meant to be. Thinking of my loved ones who have done just that!
Thank you, Julie for bringing us Debbie's gallery this week as our newest Featured Stamper. I've noticed the positive spirit in your messages, Debbie. Keep growing your gallery, you're off to a great start!
I appreciate your comments...

Wow. This is sooooo cool, Susan. Love that image, your shadowy stamping in different colors and the feel of this sweet card. I should never have clicked on your song link - had a good cry thinking of my family and friends who have done just that. Lovely case and the butterfly is a fab touch. Many hugz

When I saw that card in Debbie's gallery, I thought of you, Susan. It reminded me so much of your style. I love your beautiful background. Great choice of colors.

Oh this is so artsy with the spritzed colorful images! And I have those wonky frame dies and never thought to emboss with them like you did on your base. I can't wait to try it.

Oh Susan, I love the colors you used on this fabulous card. I have always stayed monotone, but now I'm inspired to branch out. Embossing the wonky frames looks great and works so well to frame this image. I am definitely going to try that in the future.
As an aside, I am a big Bluegrass fan, so naturally I love the sentiment as I do that song. When I first went to Bluegrass festivals I would be so caught up in the happy fast-paced tunes, I didn't listen much to the words. And, then I started to listen and I went, "oh my, that's a pretty sad song; and, oh my, he murdered her; and, oh my, why do I even like this???". LOL. But I still do. Thanks for the card and for the song link which, in typical Bluegrass fashion, is both sorrowful and uplifting and has many happy associations for me.

How wonderful, Susan! Love that chair image & your bg is beautiful. Every time I hear that song I think of the movie, Oh Brother Where Art Thou. Lots of old timey bluegrass in that movie.
