My word background was made by embossing the stamp with clear embossing powder and then splatting on distress oxides. My frame which is very fragile was made with white acrylic paint and distress inks swiped onto mixed media paper. It was embossed with a woodgrain embossing folder and then die cut and cut. I tried to die cut the sentiment out of the same piece but it was too flimsy. Even cutting it out of the darker blue backed with card proved challenging and the air was nearly blue. My card uses three shades of blue and I am entering it in this weeks JUGS challenge (http://justusgirlschallenge.blogspot...-week-567.html)

Combination of white text on that wonderful blue background is so arresting. Fabulous wood-embossing little frame to host your large cursive "happy birthday" die-cut. Love the monochromatic look of this card, Janine!
