I couldn't have made this without Shelly aka mcschmidty. She sent me a lovely and fun goodie package for having participated in the last VSN. This young girl and the large 3-D folder were among the treasures. I swiped Distress Oxide on the flat side of the folder before cranking. I touched up some areas with a white Pitt pen. Then I added some PearlEx Powders for a very pretty sheen. Used hair spay as a fixative. I stamped the child onto a mailing label, had the Scan N Cut cut it from the sticker and two more times for backing. Embossed that little thank you on vellum and tucked that in. Added a pretty pearl embossed heart. Mounted onto a fancy white die cut border and then on that luscious blue. I want to try this in reds for Valentine's day. Thanks, Shelly!

How precious, Lori! The 3-D folder background is a gorgeous resting place for that sweet little cherub. Thanks so much for joining the monochromatic challenge!

I adore this card in blues but I think it would look equally stunning in reds. Repeating what Cathymac said, that folder is a perfect resting ground for that sweet little cherub. What an adorable girl. Beautiful card.

Great background. Those 3D folders are so effective - I just wish that there weren't so many different sandwiches for them, I find it hard to keep track even with a label listing them on my folder box. The position of the girl in the flower is wonderful - as if she were growing out of it almost.
