For the Make it Monochromatic WTUI Challenge. I used a die call Fern Square cutting it out in two greens, then in-laying the one green with the other then over lapping them. This will be sent to someone who just lost her 93 year old mother.

The sort of split negative effect of the two inlays is really lovely. 93 is a good age, but it's always sad to lose one's mother - I'm sure this will be appreciated. The dainty print in the DP is perfect with those ferns.

I'm sure IRL this is Beautiful in the green, but I'm seeing a soft suede brown on my computer. Lovely dp panel....so cool how you created the 2 squares of ferns, Jane. Great looking sympathy card~

A perfect sympathy card. I love that you used leaves, connected, yet separated. Reminds me of a lovely book, "The Fall of Freddie The Leaf" by Leo Buscaglia. Helps to explain letting go. Fav'd.

The reverse of the die cuts is really a nice way to use them both and have matching pieces! Guess I should say opposite pieces. Its a very nice card with the DP for the background. So sorry for your friend.
