The spare flourish was sitting on my desk as I cut three and only used two for my WT card today. I came across the background as I was looking for something else in my background box. I can't tell what it is and what came first - it's a combination of the IO vines stamped in Delicata Gold, and a stencil monoprint possibly done with Brushos. I stamped and embossed the sentiment directly on it. Stamped the poppy image on shimmer card and coloured with Inktense pencils, then sponged some colour in. SN clear glitter pen makes the poppies shimmer and sparkle in real life. DH has been nudging me to replenish my box of Scripture cards which is alarmingly empty, but actually I think this will go to the last person on my January birthday list.

I love how this turned out. Your beautiful background is perfect for your poppy image. I'm just not disciplined enough to use anything leftover. Certainly need to change that.

That flourish adds just the right flourish to this beautiful card. Love the hues of the bg and you colored your blooms perfectly to blend with the bg. Beautiful card with a beautiful sentiment.
