This week's Tea Party is for 6 yr old Jannifer and her great grandmother and caregiver, Shirley. Shirley and Jannifer make a long taxi ride three times a week so Jannifer can get her much need dialysis. They leave the house at 4 a.m. and return 12 hours later. I can't even imagine. But it's clear that Shirley's heart is filled with LOVE for her great granddaughter.
I decided to use the same color scheme that I used on Jannifer's card. I had colored up three flowers, but it was just too busy. The card is straight forward: stamp, cut, glue. I thought the orange 'love" die cut was blah, so I cut it out again and colored with the bright pink Copic I had used in the flower. That didn't look right either. So I stacked them a bit offset so the pink peeks through behind the orange. I was much happier with that. And Shirley deserved some bling, so rhinestones were the finishing touch. I have to say my scanner makes the colors look dull; this is one of those cards that look better in real life.
I am so inspired by this story. I hope you find something inspiring in your day too. Thanks for stopping by and TFL.

I think that the changes that you made were great, the stacked orange and pink "love" are just right and add a lot of pizzaz! That one flower looks stunning and so does the bling. I think that Jannifer will think it's cool and her great-grandmother will feel your loving tribute and I hope that it will encourage and inspire her. I am praying for Jannifer right now!!!
This is truly lovely, your coloring for this floral image is really beautiful!!! I really don't color with copics well at all, your blending is WONDERFUL, I am impressed!!!

Is people that have hearts full of God's Love and real love toward other people in the world that make's the difference. I guess this is why this card touch me so much. Because That what I wanted to do. And try do by give cards to people. And because I am handicapped. it's hard for me too. And mom was caretaker And stamp partner. And she die with cancer I thought my stamping and craft days were over because mom was my hands for stamping craft. So, Thought that was the end my minstery. But, God know your heart. And God Answer my prayers and send me Dr. Sonja. And she is such a bless to me. Has my new hands! And make ways for us work things out. And I still get to enjoy stamping working for Lord. And putting smile on people faces and making difference. And now you are a part of this work. Thanks for you love cards. and care heart! Lord bless you. Linda
