This week's Tea Party is for 6 year old Jannifer, who has suffered many health issues since her birth but is still full of smiles for those around her. Since she has a bright smile, I used bright inks to make this card. It was inspired by this card on the MFT blog and I used that for my color choices: https://3umbrellas.blogspot.com/2016...day-4.html?m=1
As in the inspiration card, I used watercolor paper, ink blended the four colors and splattered water. I found similar Copic colors to ink in the girl and cat. I do struggle using the darker Copic shades, so ethnic skin is a challenge for me. Hopefully, Jannifer will be so dazzled by the glitter paper border she won't notice the so-so blends. I wanted to put glitter on the card front, but I also wanted to keep the bright colors, so I opted for the glitter border instead. And, it is way more yellow in real life. I stamped the sentiment on watercolor paper with DO then used Wink of Stella for a bit of glitz. It did move the ink a bit, but I think it just added a bit more color so I was ok with that. Glued everything down and popped up the Unicorn Girl on an action wobble, because the only thing more fun than glitter is an action wobble.
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you are as inspired by this young girl as I am. I am going to try to smile more in the future and be more friendly just like Jannifer. TFL

I would think that Jannifer will be so enchanted with the little girl and her Kittie in their rainbow unicorn costumes that she won't pay any attention to the colouring. I like the spatter in the blended background.

Super-cute card! I love all the bright colors you've used. I have action wobbles but never think to use them--thanks for the inspiration!
