Congratulations to Fifi Soleil (Jesuisjeune) on becoming our newest featured stamper. I really enjoyed looking through your beautiful gallery. Here is the lovely card that inspired me Birthday Wishes
I used a House Mouse image - but the little mouse is holding a flower for the humming. I did use similar colours and added scalloped edging - I did not have the fancy edging that Fifi used.
Enjoy your time in the spotlight, Fifi.

I absolutely LOVE the stitched element you've used around your background and your focal layer, it makes such a difference! I did have an old Singer sewing machine that I planned to use for card-making that was my grandmother's but my Mom asked to have it and she's a real sewer and she should have it. I need to get a very basic machine and a small one to do this kind of sewing, I suspect. I truly love the patterns you have used on your background and using them diagonally adds more charm. To me, this layer looks like a stunning quilt, and of course the pattern in the corners is one used on quilts, and the dotted paper looks like it's foiled, beautiful!
Your focal image is colored SO beautifully, I am loving how you have put the different colors together that don't match but coordinate so beautifully and it gives a sophisticated flavor. I have favorited this, it's truly WONDERFUL!!! What a great tribute to the featured stamper on SCS!!!
