This is my entry for the Alphabet challenge letter L for lunar. I used this week's sketch challenge (flipped upside down), and this week's color challenge colors (no pearls for me though) to make this card.
First, I planned my colors for the different panels. I flipped the sketch upside down so the moon would be up higher in the sky. I dry embossed the background with Assorted Stars. Then I did tone on tone stenciling on the Coastal Cabana and Granny Apple Green panels. I decided to use white for the horizontal panel and used all three colors to stencil stars on it.
I stamped and heat embossed the moon with the sentiment built right into it, then die cut it. I turned the heart into a star using silver glitter paper - also added a few more silvery stars.
Thanks for the fun challenges and thanks for looking!

Awesome job of combining challenges! Your design is perfect for your sentiment with all the stars! It reminds me of one I would give to my grandkids, they are the love of my life! It's funny 'my kids' say, I've forgotten all about them, wink, wink! Cute card!
