This is the 29th hand-stitched card of a set of approximately 50 hand-stitched cards made over approximately 18 months, 44 of those were given as a large set to my Mom, who is a very talented cross-stitcher.
I had been searching for several years looking for a realistic way to incorporate hand-stitching or cross-stitch onto my cards, but it wasn't until I watched a Jennifer McGuire YouTube video and watched her introduce a hand-stitching die by Paper Smooches, as well as introduce basic stitching that I knew that I had found a way to incorporate hand-stitching as I was looking for onto these cards for my Mom.
Thanks for taking a closer look at my hand-stitched card. When you leave a comment, you absolutely make my day!

Your Mom must luv your beautiful cards. I used to cross stitch years ago and found it very relaxing. I cross stitched a small lighthouse scene on 18 count Aida years ago, mounted and framed it for a card. Now I know they sell X-stitch paper for card making. Luv these colors!
