Try WCW or do my tax return. Both challenging but one far more interesting than the other! Sadly my sister in law is not too well at the moment. She had a shingles vaccine on Christmas eve and started to feel unwell just over a week later. Both her and her husband are being tested for Covid. They havent been going out, so if she has Covid she would have contracted it the day she had her jab.
Not the most beautiful watercolouring but the learning curve is steep when you are used to the control of Copics.

I would chose for the WCW too and not for the tax return...but you'll need to that too...I'm sorry for your Sister in law and her husband, I hope they'll feel better soon, your card is very pretty, great job on the watercoloring, love the little heart on your cup and the pretty bg paper

I'm glad you chose the WCW. Great looking mug of hot cocoa. Really love the marshmallows and the texture you painted. Isn't it fun to test new mediums. Sorry to hear about your friends. Hope they have a speedy recovery. I have a friend who contacted it on a routine teeth cleaning. Stay healthy.

I too am happy you picked the WCW. You have done a fabulous job on your mug using the red and highlighting and that sweet little heart. Love the marshmallows too Janine, a really sweet card. I am sorry to hear about your SIL, and hope it is not COVID.

That is a pretty cup of cocoa, Janine, and I love the added heart. Pretty paper, too, with the bird/flowers. Glad you chose the challenge today instead of taxes. Easy choice, huh? Hope your SIL is o.k. and no Covid.

I love the tone on tone heart you added to the mug, Janine. I betting that will touch your sister-in-law's heart, too. You did a super job on your marshmallows & cocoa and cutting it in the scalloped circle makes it feel like it is backed by a fancy doily & perfect for afternoon tea.

This is perfectly yummy! You did such a great job with shading and I love the little heart on the cup. I love how your chocolate turned out with the light cocoa color and the frothy bits of darker chocolate. Beautiful! I sure hope your SIL feels better soon! I sure hope she didn't pick up the virus when she got the shot. Thinking of your family!

You are too hard on yourself...I love your cup of chocolate, which coordinates so very well with your lovely patterned paper. A great get well card...warm and soothing!
