I started a Travel the World card series in 2019, committing to virtually visit a different randomly-selected country each week (for 50 weeks), gathering tidbits of information about the country. I love to travel and this is one way I can "visit" countries that I might otherwise never see. As I learn about each country, I choose something about that country as inspiration for a card.
There are 195 countries in the world so in the first two years of this series I've "visited 100 countries, which means I still have quite a few to go.
This card is inspired by Panama, where there are more than 976 bird species, which is more than the United States and Canada combined.
Please visit my blog for more photos/information about both Panama and my card...

Love your crisp looking bird card! The background paper is perfect for your forest scene. I've been to Panama but can't say I know much about the country just the canal. :-) Great idea to virtually travel the world like that!
