The background for this card was made using water colour paints on white card. First of all I spritzed the white card with water and then dabbled with paints - spreading the colours so that they mixed in together. There is a lot more in the way of aqua in this background - but as usual my computer doesn't like anything aqua and changes it to blue!
The foliage was stamped with Versa Fine Clair inks and coloured with Distress Inks.
Once the little scene was done I stood back and used everything sparkly on the sea scape and added a string of pearls around Miss Mermaid's neck - as no self respecting mermaid would be without her pearl necklace.
Hope you enjoy.

Jaw dropping spectacular Helen. I am blown away by your magical mermaid, complete with pearls. The sea scape is unbelievable. You sure got your mojo back in spades my friend.
