I was all set to make an emboss resist background with the snowy swirling background, and then I thought why not try Lift-Ink again. The gold ink might have been a mistake, but I didn't dislike it enough to wipe it clean and start over. I cut the rectangle and two snowy banks.
For the little snowman I used a long-ago Cuttlebug die and cut a stencil from Mylar. I used two layers of texture paste, and when they were dry, I added white acrylic over his body and coloured his twiggy arms with an Inktense pencil. The eyes and mouth are just a pen, and I used a scrap from a grassy border and coloured the backside orange for his nose. The trees were stamped on a Brusho with spray starch clingwrap background, and I added gold Twinkling H2Os into the detail. The trunks are Liquid Pearls. To finish I added a sentiment cut from holographic card.

Using those scraps....yay you! I think that background is magical! Your snowman is so cute with his bigger head than body, he looks comical which is just right.

Super background, Sabrina, and an adorable snowman. Love your wintry scene. I just saw my Lift-Ink pad yesterday and forgot I had it. Need to get it out again as they are really fun.

So many things to love! I like the gold, glad you kept it. Brushos with spray starch. Hmm. Gonna give that a try. I remember that snowman die! I may even have it. Thanks for playing!
