...or Lily of the Valley. A bell flower, suitable for Jayne's WTUI challenge which you can find HERE
Background sponged with Antique Linen distress, stamped with IO Script in Versafine Smokey Grey, edges sponged with Vintage Photo after cutting with stitched squares.
Lace is Harriet Border from Joanna Sheen, sponged with mowed lawn and lucky clover DOX. Real white lace in between the two strips.
Lily of the Valley from ODBD/Divinity Designs. I sponged the piece with Antique Linen while in the die, then coloured with Inktense pencils, using a white gel pen for the bells. Used a TCW trellis stencil and sponged lightly through it. White Enamel Accents scattered over the image panel and over the points of the lace. Some foliage punched from pearlescent white card, and a little sentiment tag from LOTV with a silver cord bow finish it off. Lily of the Valley scent always reminds me of my mother.

I used to love the scent Muguet, I think it was called, that was lily of the valley. Just looked it up, muguet means lily of the valley. You probably knew that. One of my favorite flowers and all the green accents in your beautiful card make me very happy. I wish my birthday was in May.

Lovely card Sabrina! The fresh green and white tempered with some antiquing looks wonderful. My mom always sent us to school with bouquets of Lily of the Violet and purple Violets in May for the teacher. I love the smell - brings back a long train of memories.

Sabrina, these are my favourite flowers. I have 2 big patches of them in my gardens and even have a 'muguet des bois' scent, althoug I hardly ever use it as there are so many scent free places nowadays. I love the beautiful lace borders too.

Gorgeous work, Sabrina! I love to read your descriptions too. There is always so much detail that I see but don't always really know how you implemented.
