This week we have our guest designer TLADY. She chose a video on mottling from Lydia. This was a true challenge for me. I used caligraphy inks for my medium. Thought it would be similar to the pens used in the video. This is my fourth try. My blotches of different colors ended up being mud. We all need a good challenge . These flowers have so much depth Linda, so beautiful. I have never even seen these inks before let alone tried them. That darn wish list just keeps growing!

Beautiful, Linda. I love the rich purple you used for your flowers and the mottling looks great. Sometimes, it takes a few tries to get it like you want...sure does with me.

Linda, I think yours turned beautifully! I love your bold spots of color! I also tried several times. I think this is one I would like to try again. I like your purple and gold, really stunning!
