This is my sample for CC824. Jeanne is our hostess and she chose pool party, blushing bride and smoky slate for her color trio. Dessert Option this week is shimmer, sparkle or shine. I used white glitter paper for the snow on my birdhouse roof.
I used lots of neutrals on my sample this week. The birdhouse and pinecones are cut from soft suede cardstock. For the fir branches and leaves I used mossy meadow designer paper and the berries are cut from merry merlot cardstock.
My background designer paper is from the Stampin'-Up " Christmas around the world" collection. The Happy New Year sentiment is cut from Stampin'-Up "black foil" paper.
My Woodland Birdhouse die is from CottageCutz. It's a Christmas die but I thought it would work well for this New Years card. To finish off my card I added a little bird cut in smoky slate and scattered a few enamel dots.
Hope you can play along with us this week. We have some great colors for your projects.

Mary, your snowy roof sparkles so pretty! It's suppose to snow here tomorrow, I hope our snow is as pretty as your birdhouse roof! I'm hoping 2021 is better than 2020, it won't be hard to beat! Your adorable card is bringing welcomed New Year wishes! TFS

What a beautiful, wintry way to welcome the new year, Mary! I love the bird house among the winter foliage, especially the glittery roof on the birdhouse!
