Totally fun Pinterest board, Amy! I was amazed at the variety of decorative doors you have put together. I painted my front door Marine Blue years ago and often grace it with either pink or yellow blooms SO this door quickly caught my attention. My plan was to do pink flowers on a deeper blue bg so I don't know how that morphed into shades of brown (not normally a color I would do anything with . . .)
I stamped floral spray and set about watercoloring my "pink" blooms which Karma decided should be brown today. Once finished I added white nuvo drops to the flower centers and thought perhaps some sequins for a bit of sparkle would be nice. I had planned on a pear green but somehow when I opened the stack, all the red ones fell on my card . . . this is not what I wanted - scooped them up into the container and opened the green (which didn't work at all!!) I tried pink, orchid, gold and a multitude of other colors but in the end I gave Karma her way and let the red ones scatter their sparkle and shine across my card! Finished with a die cut sentiment received from an SCS Teapotter.

Beautiful even dressed in a brown hue! The pop the red sequins give is quite eye catching. Such a pretty sentiment die. Isn’t it fun to get extras in our swaps?!

So pretty, Linda! Your big blooms are lovely, even tho the color wasn't what you planned. I totally get the brown part..it's not a color I tend to use.
