This week's Wednesday Water Color Challenge is to emboss an image and then to watercolor around the image using water color powders.
I used two Lindysgang Magical powders that I recently purchased.
I stamped the tree from Penny Black off center with Versamark and then gold embossed.
Then I brushed over the panel with water and first sprinkled some Ponderosa Pines Olive powder over the panel and moved it around with a paint brush, adding water if needed to dissolve and move the powder. then I sprinkled just a little Cattail Copper Brown powder over the green, spritzed with a little more water and moved the color around with my brush again.
Both the gold embossing and the Lindysgang Magicals are really shiny on this - it doesn't show so much in the photo.

I think it's always unfortunate that the camera can't seem to pick up the shimmer and shine on a card like this. I bet the play between the gold and copper is beautiful IRL.
