I'm not big on fun folds, but my friend gave me this die to make a side step card and, wow, does that make it easy! I placed a Black Friday order with Unity and finally got my stamps yesterday after a three week adventure with the postal service. I couldn't wait to use my favorite owl as a Christmas stamp. For once I didn't make him have googly eyes. But I did put him on an action wobble. I added orange to my Christmas colors for the Warm Colors VSN Challenge. I also used a scalloped glittery orange circle that resembles a sun.

So sweet! I love this little owl character and I have several versions of it but not this seasonal one. I like all the sparkle!

I love the side step fold but making it by hand often turns out somewhat weird. :-) Your little owl and warm colours seem made for each other. We need some warmth this time of year and your card will certainly provide it for the recipient! Beautiful!

My favourite owl, too . Smiling to see him here. I'm usually pretty good on cuts and folds but the side step is definitely one I struggle with, so go you with your die. Love that glittery orange!
