I had to get out of Christmas card mode to make some birthday cards. This one is going to my friend's aunt who makes the best cakes! I had to use this sweet baker on her card. IRL, her apron and mixing bowl are Christmas, so I decided to paper piece them. I printed her out four times. Twice on white cardstock. Then I mirror image flipped her and printed on the back of the two different DP. The second one on white was for the pocket and utensils. I thought I did pretty good matching the colors for the paper piecing and the markers. This is also combined with Brenda's "Comforts of Home" VSN Challenge. Nothing makes a comfortable home than fresh baked goods--especially during a pandemic. Speaking of comfort, after you've eaten all those baked goods and you can't fit into your clothes, you can at least still fit in the earrings you wore in high school. And so for dessert - jewels - I gave her a big, fabulous earring. I had a lot of fun with this.

Clever! Nice paper piecing. I am sure the card will be appreciated.

A lot of fun, indeed! It’s a bit of pandemic mystery, the increase in baking (and girth)... Thanks for playing along with the comforts of home virtual stamp night challenge.
