This is hand-stitched card #28/50 created in about 18 months, 44 of these were given in a large set to my Mom, a very talented cross stitcher.
I am very grateful to Jennifer McGuire for introducing me to hand-stitching onto cardstock via special dies, and for introducing me to some basic hand stitches. I have watched my Mom stitching on fabric for decades, and I had a few basic concepts, but I would like to learn more stitches and to put them together with what I already have for more combinations.
I really liked the use of ombre-colored thread on this hand-stitched piece, it was utilized in the Lattice stitching in the middle of the hand-stitching.

Your work is incredible. It is obvious that you put a great deal of time and love into each one. The recipient must treasure your special card and certainly save them. Love your colors choices and the added buttons are unique.

This is so pretty! I love the colors. I've never tried cross stitching with cards before, I love how beautiful it looks.
