White acrylic paint was thinned out with water and using a paint brush, I splattered the blue mat to look like snow. The mat was adhered to the white card base.
The branch, pine cones, and Peace were die cut. The Peace was stamped using the MISTI. Shading on the pine cones was achieved with colored pencils and Gamsol. I also added some glitter glue to the pine cones. The sentiment was stamped using the MISTI and then heat embossed with silver embossing powder. Lastly, the card was assembled as shown.
