So, before the drama of finding the water supply line to the dishwasher leaking, I watched the Winter foliage video from Linda's challenge. made trips to homedepot and waited out the blue air to find Jen's do a black/metallic watercolor challenge for VSN this morning. ( so, this card took all day and most the afternoon lol) I have never really thought about using the metallic paints on the black, so I had to make cheat sheets with all my pans of metallic watercolors and this particular set had the best coverage and color when dry. I did kinda ad-lib some of the foliage as I was just you know messing around. and then at the end I added some copper stem where the pencil line was still visible in the wreath shape. Thanks for these challenges ladies & tfl.

You had quite a day and still managed to make a beautiful wreath, Stacy. Love it against the black. Glad you joined the WCW this week.

Oh how beautiful with it being done on black. Your take on the winter foliage leaves is wonderful. Many videos have where the author practices before doing it on the real card. Gives us confidence that it is ok. Hope all is well with the dishwasher. Glad you came and played in the challenge, Stacy. TFS
