I chose LET IT SNOW to inspire my card. It was written in July 1945, in California, during a heat wave.
Dry embossed white base with snowflake embossing folder. Cut a piece of black and die cut with snow border. Die cut snow border from light blue foil. Glued the black piece onto the base and inlaid the foil snow border. Die cut the sentiment from white scrapman glued to black piece. Die cut 3 flakes from foil and glued. Covered parts of embossing with stickles.

Pretty pretty flaky border! I love the silver with the black and white. Yup. Let it snow, but not too much, and only on the grass and trees!!!

Well - then I think I need to be singing You are my Sunshine today - it's cold and grey and wet. Very elegant and classy. I like the combination of embossing and die-cuts.
