Cathy has challenged us to be inspired by a song for today's challenge. I realized this year that I have a thing for carolers. I keep buying carolers and I haven't used any of them. Not because I don't want to, but because I buy too many stamps and it takes me too long to use them all. So here are my first set of carolers that I bought. I still have at least three others. I stamped and masked them all together and colored them up with Copics. I watched a video on the My Favorite Things Youtube channel recently where the artist made a scene like this. I can't get it out of my head, so I had to try it. I drew in the trees the same way she did and colored up the sky and some shadows. Then I drew in snow with gel pen and then Enamel Accents. As you can see, they are singing "Deck the Halls". I'm going to be really sad to part with this fun card.

Well, carollers are such fun, aren't they. I have more than one set myself . And at least, with all that snow, they don't have any instruments to go out of tune which is always a hazard playing outdoors in the cold. I just love the colours in your sky, and I bet the enamelled snow feels fantastic.
I have the Penny Black carolling hens sitting on my desk calling to me ;-).

You buy too many of the cutest stamps, but I am so glad you do because your cards make me smile. Love the silly looks on these guys. I can only imagine what their singing must sound like. Love the scene you created and the enamel dots for snow. Fabulous fun.
