This week's watercolor challenge, we are painting winter foliage.WCW028 12/09/2020 Winter Foliage by Holstein at Splitcoaststampers I made three note cards and one A7 thank-you card. The note cards are all done with a 4x2 1/2 piece of water color paper. Used different foliage for them. Mounted the pieces on an A2 card. I didn't put any sentiment, because they can be used for any occasion. They are going to be a gift for someone. For the card, traced an oval lightly with a pencil and then foiled it with the Thank You using the foil press. Taking the watercolors added foliage around the entire oval. Splatter gold ink when finished. This foliage can be used for winter cards, not just Christmas. Come join us this week. TFL

Oh my goodness, these are GORGEOUS! The gold foil is incredible, the hand painted foliage is amazing, and the way everything is laid out so crisp and clean and fresh. Wowza!

Amazing flow to all your greenery - if pushed, I'd have to say my very fav is the one on the far left. Something about the soft wave in the branch just catches my imagination. Thank you for a wonderful challenge.

Linda, all of these cards just blow me away! You were meant to water color and create while doing so. My hats off to you for digging your heals in and taking on all of the foliage. The berries look Fantastic~

So fabulous, Linda. Hard to choose a favorite, but I am thinking maybe the bottom one with large pinecones because they scared me and I didn't even want to try them (kind of like last week's lantern). I need to get busy and try both.
Also love the blue berries - unexpected color is soooo fun.
You do beautiful work and these are all inspiring and fresh and beautiful.
