We are sending "up-lifting" cards to this week's Tea Party guest, Bill. In addition to many other interests, Bill has a dog and likes to watch the birds at his backyard feeder. So I pulled out this image from Mo's Digital Pencil of this cute dog floating through the air. I have seen this image in the Gallery before, but I never tire of it.
Awhile back, Shoe Girl (Lisa) made the most adorable card using Curious George and the MFT Swing die. It inspired me to try some different images with that die and today was the perfect day to give it a try. Here's a link to Lisa's adorable card: MMTPT621 Hello George by Shoe Girl at Splitcoaststampers
This die is really designed for the image to be underneath the clouds or trees for whatever canopy you use, but I wanted him floating on top of the clouds. I did add a penny on his backside to help him out and bent the balloons a bit away from the card. It seems to be working. Fingers crossed.
Since Bill likes birds, I found this guy in a Google search. I think he looks like a parrot; the caption said peacock -- go figure. But, the State bird of Virginia, where Bill resides, is the cardinal so I gave him the cardinal treatment. Thank goodness it's cartoonish, because it really doesn't look like a cardinal. LOL. Hopefully, Bill will think of his birds and it will make him smile.

Thanks for stopping by. And, I hope there are many "uplifting" moments in your day today too.
EDIT 12/9/20: OOPS! Most of my interactive dies are from Lawn Fawn, but this one is My Favorite Things. Sorry.

Awesome card! Balloons, basket, dog and trim shaded beautifully. Both clouds, die cut and stenciled are perfect. Love your "cardinal" and the story you wove for all to enjoy.

No way that is a peacock! That sounds like some of the Chinese descriptions on websites, LOL. The mechanism sounds very interesting, I must look into it. Your dog image is delightful, he looks so relaxed and at ease. I think any of our dogs would have been barking away! The top clouds look wonderful.
