This hand-stitched card #24 of approximately 50 cards is another one of the very few that were not part of the large set of 44 hand-stitched cards that I made specifically for my Mom, who is a very avid and very talented cross-stitcher. This is one that I sent out to someone before I took the large set of cards to my Mom in eastern Canada via flight (I carried that box of cards on with me, I wasn't going to let those get lost in my luggage somehow!). I don't remember who I sent this card to, but I hope that it brought some comfort and peace.
The Prayers die set was a collaboration between Hero Arts and Simon Says Stamp, and I really love this Prayers die as well as the stamps that go with it, and I use this set often when I am making a prayers-type card.
Thank you so much for taking a closer look at my card. If you left a comment on my card or on another artist's card, thank you for leaving some encouragement. I have realized the importance of leaving encouragement, and I have made it a priority to leave comments when I'm on the SCS gallery.
Please stay safe and be healthy especially at this very unusual time. It's a great time to concentrate on our crafts, as it's a safe activity, and it's a wonderful way to create something we can send to uplift others.
