This is card #22 of approximately 50 hand-stitched cards made over approximately 18 months, 44 of those were given in a set to my Mom, a very avid and very talented cross-stitcher. This is one of a few that were not in that set to my Mom. Instead, I sent this card and two more (all mailed separately) to one family in the southern US who are very dear to our family. This card was sent to Sarah, the wife and Mom and a dear friend to many, and she is also a published author.
I sent this, card with a small gift card to try in a small way to show my gratitude to this wondorful woman for all of the many ways she has impacted our family especially spiritually, for it was through this woman and her family that my maternal grandmother became a Christian. That is a gift that is priceless to all of our family!!!
Thank you for taking a closer look at my card. When you leave a comment on one of my cards or on the cards of another artist, know that you are blessing that artist with encouragement. It is because I have realized how much that encouragement means that I have made it a priority to leave comments when I go on the SCS gallery.
Please be safe and stay well at this very unusual time. It's a great time to devote ourselves to this craft, for it's a great way for us to spend our time, and we can bless others when we send out the cards that we have been making.

What amazing detailed stitching. I love the addition of the scissors, truly an indispensable accessory. I can't begin to imagine how long these must have taken: I am sure they will be treasured as gifts of love.
