This is also for last Wednesday's watercolor challenge: paint a lantern. I decided to search a bit for images of lanterns and chose a painting by Dina Bilotta. It's on FineartAmerica, I can't find a picture that I can post, maybe copywrited. Anyway, I liked the idea of a lamp post as a opposed to a lantern. This was challenging but in the end, it went much better than anticipated and I'm very pleased with it. Maybe I'm getting the hang of this...I need to stay humble though. The light inside the lantern was the toughest part for me.

So well done on this watercoloring. I have not gotten to that challenge yet this week. Still want to give it a try though.

Super card and I like the lamp post for this challenge. The flame looks great and I like the light reflecting from it, too. So glad you played with the WCW this week.
