This week's Watercolor challenge was fun, but I am not totally happy with how mine turned out. It's a start though and I will just keep practicing. The Lantern was a little harder for me than the snowmen were.

Your lantern turned out great, Pat. Those are some really rich looking blues and the yellow light just sizzles. Love the little star shines on the lantern glass.

Pat, you captured the glowing light in a most outstanding way. (Don't be too hard on yourself...anyone would be thrilled to receive this card) Your sky is also wonderfully done....like one that would produce the falling snow.

I think you should be very, very happy with this beautyand with your work on it, Pat. It is gorgeous. Your snow looks so real and I love the sky. The lantern is just perfect with the glowing light.

Beautiful depth with your water coloring. Vibrant and translucent colors really make it an outstanding painting. Glad you played in the challenge this week. TFS
