Karen presented a redux of a challenge with a twist. The tutorial for "Magical Masking Tape" can be found here. That is the basis for Karen's challenge....although she asked us to take it a step further and create a plaid bg.
My plaid is more subtle since I used shades of blue. Then I further softened it with water misting and white spray.

Gorgeousness, Sallie, just complete Gorgeousness! Love those shades of blue and then your misted water adds so much beautiful texture to your nighttime winter sky! I'd love a ride in that horse drawn sleigh, and I won't even be picky at the time of day~

The subtlety of the plaid lends well to the overall feel of the card - so serene. This is truly beautiful. I've added it to my favorites so I can remember to "frame up" a scene like this - thank you!
