Francie had a good idea to make a card of a favorite food for this time of year.
I chose a pumpkin because Pumpkin Bread is my favorite during the holidays. And my husband likes me to make a Pumpkin Roll with cream cheese in the middle, his favorite.
Stamped and colored image with Blender Pen and ink pads. Framed Pumpkin image with Early Espresso and Old Olive. Had a piece of Crumb Cake already embossed. Sponged over it with Crumb Cake ink. Last added ribbon. TFL

Oh you captured all the warmth and charm of autumn in this lovely card. The half and half split background is so pretty. I like the rich, deep brown with the embossed lighter panel. That harvest home image is perfect and the little brown ribbon is the perfect finishing touch.

I love the warm, rich feel to this classic seasonal card. The design looks fabulous and the rustic texture adds even more depth. You are going to make the lucky recipient feel very special. I've never had pumpkin bread, my next job is to google it! Creamed cheese tastes great with anything.

Lovely colour and texture. I've never had pumpkin bread, but I have made the roll with the cream cheese filling. It's occasionally possible to find canned pumpkin here, though not common.

Believe it or not, I totally forgot about pumpkin bread this year! I think I'll make some this weekend, lol. Great card, and I especially love the sponging on the embossed background - it adds a bit of extra interest and dimension.

Your embossed and sponged panel is perfect with your pumpkin images ... adds just the right texture! Your pumpkin bread and pumpkin roll really sound good!
