Karen is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and I have to say I love her Dessert Option--a cute card! I hope this one qualifies; I think this gnome with his crazy hat is so cute! The colors this week are Pool Party, Poppy Parade and Shaded Spruce.
This was my first attempt at the gnome die. OK, there is definitely a learning curve, and I think I can improve my assembly techniques. All those tiny little pieces! But oh, well, a few extra cuts and I had all the elements in their proper order.
I embossed the Pool Party layer with a snowflake embossing folder, and then brayered white paint over it. A lighter hand would have resulted in fewer "clouds" in the sky, but oh, well!

Love everything about this card! Wow, there is a lot of detail to your gnome, the gold accents are a real eye catcher! I'm sure glad you were the one who put this lil' guy together, teehee! With that being said, I have to say all your hard work 'DID' pay off, this is adorable. TFS
